Dear RVing Friends:

The 56th Annual California RV Show is just six weeks away.  Our staff is hard at work on  the final planning details. The Show is at the LA County Fairgrounds, called Fairplex, just off the 10 Freeway in Pomona, CA. We have already worked onsite marking the locations for the fencing, generators, power cables, tents and manufacturer display spaces. Think of building a temporary city for 1,000 homes - that's what the RVIA staff and our RV manufacturer members do each year.  This is one big show!

The California RV Show opens Friday, October 10th at 10am and runs through Sunday, October 19th at 6pm.   10 day of incredible savings on the RV you have been thinking about buying for your family. Mark your calendar and plan to attend, because this Show is only once a year.

See you in Pomona,

Marsha McInnis
Western Show Director

Thanks
Thanks for signing up on the California RV Show web site to receive our e-newsletter.  You will receive several newsletters between now and the show, then we take a publishing break until next fall.  Your e-mail address is safe. We value your trust in the show and will not loan, rent or sell your e-mail address. We won't market any product to you except the RVIA show that is once a year each October. If you no longer wish to receive the show newsletter, there is information at the end of this e-mail about how to opt-out. We will take your address off the list with a week.
Closing Good Idea

The airlines have a good lesson to teach about the fuel cost of weight. They are removing and reducing items to make the planes lighter and consume less fuel.  You can do the same thing with your RV. Over time campers tend to bring things for a specific trip, then leave them in the rig. It adds up and you are driving a lot of stuff around that you don’t use. Look through your compartments and cupboards with a goal of taking out anything you have not used in a year (except safety equipment, of course). I bet you will be surprised at how much weight you can take out of your RV!  Enjoy the improved fuel economy on your next lighter weight RV outing.
